It divides the amount you want to spend by the price per unit to find the quantity you will receive. Formula: Quantity = Amount ÷ Price per unit. For example, ₹265 ÷ ₹280 per KG = 0.946 KG (946 grams).

For easier understanding, the calculator automatically converts between related units. When the result is less than 1 KG it shows grams as the primary unit; when 1 KG or more it shows KG with the gram equivalent alongside. Similarly, Liters convert to ml and Meters convert to cm when the quantity is small.

Yes. Select 'Liter' as the unit, enter the price per litre (e.g. ₹98), then enter the amount you want to spend. The result shows how many litres — and millilitres — you will get.

Yes. Select 'Gram' as the unit, enter the gold rate per gram (e.g. ₹9500), then enter your budget. The calculator shows how many grams you can buy, with an automatic KG conversion if the quantity is large enough.

When the unit is 'Piece', the calculator shows the decimal quantity (e.g. 2.5 pieces) and also breaks it down into whole pieces plus the fractional remainder as a percentage of one piece, so you know exactly how close you are to a full unit.
